Extensive experience (more than 26 years) in determining the origin, cause, and responsibility of fires and explosions, photography and video documentation, collection and preservation of evidence, and fire code issues and safety, involving commercial and residential structures, industrial facilities, vehicles, vessels, and equipment. Mr. Cook has testified as an expert witness numerous times in depositions and Federal and State District Courts. He has conducted more than 3,000 fire and explosion investigations throughout the southern and central regions of the United States, ranging from thousands to millions of dollars in damages. Mr. Cook has conducted and assisted in numerous burn tests that involved residential dwellings, vehicles, and equipment/appliances. He has also instructed and lectured on several occasions to the insurance industry and fire community.

Mr. Peebles has qualified as an expert witness. Mr. Peebles has more than 12 years of experience in conducting condition-of-property investigations for residential and commercial structures and performing quality-of-workmanship inspections and completed more than 600 associated assignments. He also continues to be involved in oil and gas pipeline projects in various capacities. His pipeline areas of expertise include submarine and onshore pipeline design and construction, terminal design, FERC application for pipelines, design of repair to pipelines, analysis of pipeline failures, marine pipeline surveys, feasibility studies, spill risk analysis for pipelines, design of pipe laying equipment, and the drafting of pipeline regulations. Mr. Peebles has worked on systems in the United States, the Gulf of Mexico, the Arctic, the North Sea, Latin American, South America, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, the Far East, and Africa.
